1, First of all we make a circle, with the ellipse tool, and lock the ratio between its height and width.
2, We select the circle and convert it to path.
Path-> Convert to path, or by prerssing Control+Shift+C
3, We make a copy from the circle (Control+C), and paste it into the same space. (Control+Alt+V)
4, We decrease the size of the second circle, but we use the shift key, so the center of the circles will be the same. We change the color of the second circle to make it visible. I used red.
5, We repeat the third and the fourth step. (But this time we change the color to yellow.
6, Now, we select the red and the blue cirle. And make their difference. ( Control + -)
7, Select the yellow cirle, and make a Linear gradient on it.( From white to invisible)
(Control+Shift+F, and chose gradient fill.)
8, Make a copy from that circle.(Contorl + C) Paste it into the same space (Control+Alt+V). And mirror it vertical (V)
9, Make a Group from all of the objects. (Control+G) Decrease its size and use it on a dark background.
10, We are ready.
